Dennis Alan Baker, age 78, passed away on August 31, 2025. He was born on November 15, 1946, to his parents Willard and Lucille Baker.

He was raised in Elmore City, Oklahoma and graduated from Elmore City High School. Following high school he went to Barber School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dennis was drafted into the army on September 28, 1966. He served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged September 28, 1968. Dennis moved to Midwest City, Oklahoma and started his 40-year Barbering career. He opened his own Barber Shop in 1975 called "The Golden Razor". It became a popular place that many came to for years not just for haircuts but for good stories and socializing.

He met and married his wife, Nancy, in 1969 and was married for 56 years. His proudest accomplishments Revolved around his family. He took immense pride in his two sons Bradley Baker and Chad Baker, as well as their granddaughter Lily Baker and great grandson Celestino Baker.

Dennis cherished his friends, especially the "Jimmy's Egg group" in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They were very special to him. He always loved being with his friends. Dennis had a range of interests and hobbies through the years but most of all he loved going to Mary's swap meet in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was also 32-degree mason and did lots of charity work.

Those closest to Dennis remember him as selfless, generous, and hardworking nature. His sense of humor and caring made him a beloved figure in the lives of many.

Dennis is survived by his wife Nancy Baker, two sons Bradley Baker, and Chad Baker, granddaughter Lily Baker, great grandson Celestino Baker, sister Laura Medford and her husband Don, many nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by both parents Willard & Lucille Baker of Elmore City, Oklahoma, sister Darlene Pratt of Elmore City, Oklahoma, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Dennis will be missed dearly by his family and those who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for his own family and friends will continue to inspire those who carry memories of this remarkable man in their hearts.
