Dennis W. Barger

Dennis W. "Denny" Barger, 52, of Howard, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in Manhatton, NY. Born on February 11, 1972, in State College, he was the son of Dennis Barger and Linda (Cain) Shope. On September 20, 2023, in Bellefonte, he married Devon A. Hull, who survives at home.
Denny graduated from Bellefonte Area High School in 1990 and Centre County Vo-Tech where he studied Electric. He was working as a Supply Distribution Attendant for Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College for 30 years.
Denny enjoyed working on cars, powder coating, and 3D printing. He loved to jump in his jeep and go for "off road" rides. He was a selfless person, always doing for others and asking for nothing in return. He was a super person and will be missed by many.
Along with his wife, Denny is survived by his father, Dennis Barger, and his wife, Janet, of Grassflat; his mother, Linda Shope and her companion, Vince Riglin, of Julian; Devon's parents, Frank and Marsha Hull of Zion; two daughters: Carly Bartley and her husband, Josh, of Howard and Hanna Casto of Osceola Mills; stepdaughter, Kaylia Myers of Zion; and his sister, Shannon Barger and her companion, Earl Cox, of Grassflat. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Adyen Mains and Christian Bartley; one step-granddaughter, Athena Myers, and by his best friend, Troy Breon of Bellefonte.
Following Denny's wishes, there will be no services.
