Dennis Beavers Obituary

Dennis was a graduate of New Rochelle High School and from there enlisted into the Marine Corps to serve his country in the VietNam war. Returning from the war he would then wed Marie Meyer and then soon become the proud owner of Ritacco's Service Station located in the West End of New Rochelle for 35 years. He not only served the general public in the automotive field but he was a huge part in volunteer work with the City Of New Rochelle. Taking part in such things as the New Rochelle Haunted House and being the Grand Marshall to the New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade. He was also involved with the civic theater as head carpenter on set building and design. He has been awarded and recognized many times by the city with his due diligence and that will not be forgotten.
Dennis was a loving husband to Marie Beavers (passed) and survived by his son Tracey Beavers. He would treat any of the other family members' children as if they were his own. Never turned his back on anyone and had nothing but love to give. He enjoyed time away in the Catskills on weekends by a campfire and a rippling creek. He had a huge love for animals and took in ones in need of a home. Dennis was never a dull moment and knew how to lighten a room with a joke and a smile at any given time. His presence alone would brighten up the dullest of situations and he knew how to make the best of the worst. He always gave a helping hand to those who needed it. Always thought of others before thinking of himself. His legacy will be remembered by many and there will always be a story and a laugh to tell about him.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel in New Rochelle
