Frank Massimi Obituary

He is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Maria; his sons, Robert Massimi and Stephen Massimi, MD; his loving daughters-in-law, Nora and Nicole; and his four young grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness and who returned his love in the most joyful ways. He was cherished by them, and the bond he shared with each of them was filled with affection, laughter, and gentle guidance.
In addition to his immediate family, Frank is survived by his brother, Aldo; his sister, Maria; his sister-in-law, Mary-Lynne DiPietro; his nephews, and many dear cousins. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Ezio and Antonia Massimi, and his brother-in-law, Joseph DiPietro, MD.
Frank's professional career included work at Union Carbide and later United Technologies, where he traveled extensively throughout Asia and South America.
Frank had a lifelong love of soccer. A proud and engaged member of his community, he especially enjoyed volunteering for years as a local youth soccer coach, finding joy in encouraging and mentoring young players. He also cherished time on the water, especially sailing with his sons on the Long Island Sound. He was a former member of the Larchmont Shore Club.
He was a longtime parishioner of St. Augustine Church in Larchmont. He also treasured the peaceful time he spent with his family at their home in Jupiter, Florida.
Frank's legacy lives on in the love he gave so freely and the example he set for others. His memory will be cherished always, and the strength of his love will never fade.
