He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Geraldine Benson; sons, Shawn (Holly), Kenny (Christina) and Jason; and grandchildren, Eliott and Paige.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Bernie (Marilyn).
A visitation will be held from 3 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – THE AHLGRIM CHAPEL, 567 South Spring Road, Elmhurst. Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the funeral home.

Tommy introduced me to Dennis 10 years ago and I have loved him ever since! I even had him walk me down the aisle for our wedding because he was so precious to me! I have no words to describe how much we are going to miss him!!
