Dennis Wayne "Denny" Beville, age 85, passed away peacefully at home on March 25, 2026, in Parrish, Florida. Born on October 15, 1940, in East Chicago, Indiana, Denny lived a life marked by dedication to his family, faith, community, and career.

Denny graduated from Knox High School in 1958 and pursued higher education at Indiana University and Indiana State University, where he was a proud member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. His academic journey laid the foundation for a successful career in banking that spanned over four decades. Beginning at Farmers Bank & Trust in Knox, Indiana, in 1970, Denny worked with several financial institutions throughout his career as Vice President including Valley American Bank and Lake City Bank. He retired from Centier Bank after an impressive 40 years in the industry. During this time, he not only excelled professionally but also mentored many young professionals who benefited from his guidance, expertise and kindness.

Denny proudly served his country as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1970. Stationed at various stateside locations and Korea, he exemplified dedication and honor during his military service.

Faith played a central role in Denny's life. Denny married Mary Frances Bordenet at St. Mary's Church in Washington, Indiana on August 15, 1975. He was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Knox, Indiana, and St. Michael's Catholic Church in Plymouth. At these parishes, he contributed significantly by serving on committees such as finance, Parish Restoration, Mission 2000, and Playground Committees. He was also a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus. After relocating to Florida later in life, Denny became actively involved at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Lakewood Ranch.

Denny found immense joy in spending time with his family and friends. He especially cherished moments with his grandsons and loved traveling to new places and trying different restaurants. His commitment to community activities reflected his generous spirit and desire to make meaningful connections with those around him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Mary Frances (Francie) Beville; his daughter Sarah Ann Ashley; grandsons Evan Beville and Flinn Ashley; sisters-in-law Barbara Reece, Catherine Bordenet, and Theresa Grygiel; nephew Brian Reece; and niece Beth Hargis. Although unrelated in the biblical sense, Denny's life was enriched by many who lovingly called him "Uncle Denny" and "My American Dad." Denny was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Beville and Isabelle Bennett Beville; brother David Beville; and sister Barbara Beville.

Denny’s legacy is one of love for family, faithfulness to his beliefs, dedication to his work, and service to others. Those who knew him will remember him as a kind-hearted man who lived life fully and left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.

A Funeral Mass will be held on April 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 12905 State Road 70 East, Lakewood Ranch. A Burial Service with military honors will be held on April 16, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72.
