Dennis Blanken

It is with great sadness to announce that “Dennis (Den) B. Blanken, 78, of Liberty Township, Ohio, (borned in Cincinnati, Ohio), passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2025. Den is survived by his loving wife (Connie) of 47 years, brother Ronald Blanken (Terri), sister Pat Whitlock (Ray), and his many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Ohio State University with a degree, BS Business Administration. Den spent 4 years as a Marine directly following his college graduation. Afterwards, he and his partner played a part in the Mason, Ohio community when they owned Warren County Electric Supply. A celebration of his life by friends and family will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, in Liberty Township, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 12 Noon-1:00 pm (visitation with a brief service). Den was a devoted golfer, both in play and watching the many tournaments on television. His favorite vacation was spent with family, and his dog (Barney) at the cabin in Alpena, Michigan, and they ended a day of fishing by playing cards. Den carried love for dogs throughout his lifetime, and he is survived by his beloved Rat Terriers, Wrenna, Nike, and Tyler. Den will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity, and love of family. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.
