Dennis Edward Clemente

In Loving Memory: Dennis Edward Clemente (1947-2024) Dennis died peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 77. Dennis was born in Vallejo, California, the oldest child of Ed and Ruby Clemente. He was a loving father and husband. Though Dennis' beloved wife, Diana Clemente, preceded him in death, her memory remained a guiding light in his life. Together, they shared a bond that transcended time and space, a testament to 50 years of marriage and the enduring power of love. He leaves behind his two children, Steven Clemente (Muriel Clemente) and Scott Clemente, three grandchildren, Dameco Clemente, Robert Meadows II and Anthony Clemente, and his great-grandchild Kamia Meadows. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was also inspirational in helping many vets receive their much-deserved VA benefits. Dennis was also a Vallejo Police Officer Reserve in the 70's and 80's. As we bid farewell to a remarkable man, let us take solace in knowing that his legacy will forever be etched in our memories. Rest in peace, dear Dennis, knowing that your spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who were blessed to know you. In loving memory, rest in eternal peace.
There will be a Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Ritual Ceremony at the VFW 1123 420 Admiral Callaghan ln, Vallejo, CA 94591, on June 14, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the VFW Post-1123 in honor of Dennis's memory. Checks can be mailed to VFW Post-1123, 420 Admiral Callaghan Lane, Vallejo, CA 94591. If you would like a receipt, request one with the donation.
Dennis will be interned at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon CA on June 7th at 8:30 AM.
