Dennis L. Damm

Dennis Lee Damm, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in Cloverdale, Michigan at the age of 68. Born on August 22, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Devere and Beverly (Dunham) Damm, Dennis grew up in a close-knit family and developed a strong work ethic early on while working as a dairy farmer on the family farm.
After serving his country in the United States Army from 1975 to 1978 at Ft. Stewart in Georgia, Dennis returned to Michigan and transitioned into a career as a machinist. His journeyman electrician skills flourished as he worked alongside his brother-in-law at the Ace Hardware in Cloverdale for 35 years, where he was respected for his reliability and expertise.
Dennis shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Julie (Nap) Damm, and was a cherished brother to Dale and DeeDee. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of his many nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Devere and Beverly Damm, and siblings: Duane, Debbie, Frank, and Boo, who all left an indelible mark on his heart.
A man of many interests, Dennis found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid fisherman and an exceptional gardener. His ingenuity shone through his construction of a wind turbine and a solar system for his home. Those who knew Dennis will fondly remember the love he had for his dogs, especially his last dog, Lily, who was a constant companion.
