Dennis Davidheiser Obituary
Dennis Wayne Davidheiser, 71, of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania went to be with our Lord and be reunited with his parents on Monday, August 12, 2024. Sadly, Dennis passed away from stomach cancer.
Born April 3, 1953 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania he was a son of the late Roy L. Davidheiser and the late Helen A. (Narehood) McGinley.
Preceding him in death was a lovely infant daughter, Meka.
Surviving are: His longtime companion, Betsy of Mifflintown; three dearly loved daughters, Talisa, Erin and Kerstin.
Five beloved grandchildren, Brant, Brealyn-December-Rose, Brannon, Anthony and Riley.
One precious great-grandson, Hayden Thomas.
Also surviving are: a sister, Carol A. Snyder and husband Perry of Lewistown
Dennis was a highly intelligent, independent, hardworking, loyal friend and known for a witty on-the-spot sense of humor who can make anyone laugh.
He was a proud self-employed vendor of NASCAR, International Harvester and John Deere memorabilia.
Dennis enjoyed family, helping others, drinking whole milk, NASCAR, tractors, going to shows and politics. He especially liked meeting new people on his many travels.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024 at Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 South Market St., McVeytown. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to help defray funeral expenses are greatly appreciated and may be made to Harshbarger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 385, McVeytown, PA 17051.
