Joan M. Davidheiser, 70, peacefully passed away on September 23, 2023, at her home in Pottstown, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Pottstown, on May 22, 1953, Joan was the daughter of the late Paul and Frances (Schroeder) Davidheiser.
Joan was raised in Harmonyville and attended Owen J. Roberts school district. She continued to do many interesting things throughout her lifetime. She was so free spirited and full of life. In her early years she worked at Coventry Manor as well as the Holiday Inn Express. Joan loved to listen to music especially when Prince came on. She loved to dance and make people laugh. She enjoyed binge watching her favorite movies which were Purple Rain and Titanic. She was a caregiver to those she loved. Joan never believed in saying goodbye, after every phone call she either said "peace", "blessed one" or "see you later". She had a big heart and loved her family most of all. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, no matter what she found a way to brag about each and everyone of them. She had an amazing bond with her sister Dorothy (Dotty) before she passed she got to attend Dotty's prom and the beach trip. Joan will be missed by all, but never forgotten Until we meet again.
Joan is lovingly remembered by her children, Shannon (& Andre) Wilkerson, Thomasina (& Alonzo) Gay, Darlington Davidheiser, and Danielle Davidheiser (& John Jones); her grandchildren, Trenton, Deitrich, Nyles, Aiden, Brianna, Brittany, Alicia, Zaire, Qaadir, Maximus, Darlington, Matthew, Maliyah, Jordynn, Keeden, Michael, Naszir, Sa'Vaughn, and De'Naya; and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her son, Paul Davidheiser; and her sisters, Catherine Velez, Patricia Ledford, Diane Birkhead, and Dorothy Davidheiser.

Weep not for me though I have gone
Into that gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my soul's sweet flight
I am at peace, my soul's at rest
There is no need for tears
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years
There is no pain, I suffer not
The fear is now all gone
Put now these things out of your thoughts
In your memory, I live on
Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death
But celebrate my life
