Dennis Arden Flickinger, 70, of Boise, Idaho, passed away on October 13, 2025 following a month-long battle with heart issues.
Born November 4, 1954, he was the son of the late Howard and Helen (Bentley) Flickinger.
He was a 1971 graduate of Linesville-Conneaut-Summit High School. Dennis then served our country in the United States Army from 1971 until his honorable discharge in 1973.
Dennis was a contractor in the San Francisco, California Bay area for 15 years. He then settled in Boise, Idaho and was owner and operator of Boise Gravel Company.
The best days of his life were pack horse hunting at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Dragana Flickinger, of Boise, Idaho; two sons, Gary Flickinger and his wife, Delores, of Sunnyvale, California and Jason Flickinger of San Jose, California; two grandchildren, Zoey and Jack Flickinger of San Brano, California; two brothers, Paul Flickinger and his wife, Barbara, of Fredonia and Bruce Flickinger of San Jose, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dale Flickinger; and two half-brothers, Donald Flickinger and Gerald Moore.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in Radle Cemetery, Guys Mills.
Memorial contributions may be made to Radle Cemetery, 1058 Sedgwick Road, Waterford, PA 16441.
