Dennis Richard Gillum, age 75, of Clarksville, passed away on March 22, 2022.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, and again from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022, with a Masonic Service beginning at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Dennis entered into this life on June 30, 1946, in Wyondote, MI to the late Charles Gillum and Virginia Laceret. He was a retired plant manager for a Steel Mill. Dennis was a member of the Clarksville Masonic Lodge #89 and the Moslem Detroit Shiners.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Buckner.
Survivors include his children, Shelby (Bobby Meixner) Gillum, Mandy (Randy) Keck; brother, Charles Gillum; sister, Joanne (Sam) Tate; grandchildren, Dennis "Dink" (Nalana) Holbrook; Ryan Meixner; Danielle (Chris) Holbrook; Lil Bobby (Ruth) Meixner; Nate "Bubbo" (Chas) Lay; Andrea (Danial) Meixner; Danielle Meixner, Samantha (Kyle) Savett; Tabatha Keck, Luke Keck, Laura Keck; great-grandchildren, Izabella, Aleah, Brooklyn, Jordan, Aiden, Angel, McKenna, Robert, Addilyn, Madison, Carria, Dennis, Paislee, Nathaniel, Aryana, Kolton, and Shay.
Pallbearers will be Dennis "Dink" Holbrook, Ryan Meixner, Bobby Meixner, Nate "Bubbo" Lay, Luke Keck, Joby Smith, Dylan Lay, Chris Silvey.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, March 27, after graveside services at Dennis' home, 2480 Shadwood Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
