Dennis M. Gottstein, 77, of Lowry passed away on June 28, 2025. He was born in Hazleton, PA on August 17, 1947. He was the son of the late Lewis Gottstein and Irene Zapach Gottstein. In addition to his parents Dennis was preceded in death by a son, Michael D. Gottstein and a brother, Alan Gottstein.
Dennis served his country during Vietnam in the United States Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. A hard worker who could build anything with is hands. Dennis loved the outdoors while playing golf, cutting grass, and an occasional trip with his wife. He also was an avid New York Yankees fan, loved watching westerns and reading. He was loved by his family, and he will be missed in the days ahead.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Patricia Halbeisen Gottstein; three children, Catherine Gottstein MacMoyle and her spouse John, Sean Gottstein and Lauren P. Gottstein and her spouse, Kayla; two grandchildren, John MacMoyle and Jordan MacMoyle; brother, Ivan Gottstein. Also surviving there are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A memorial service and celebration of Dennis’s life will be conducted at 2:00pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory Bedford.
