It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Dennis Michael Hardcastle, at age 81.
Our father lost his battle to cancer on March 18th, with his beloved family by his side. Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Kay, his beloved son, Michael, his beloved parents, Dallas Hatton and Gladys Mae Hardcastle, and his three brothers, Eugene, Norman, and Douglas. He leaves behind his two daughters and their husbands, Lorraine and Richard Sanchez, Denise and Charlie Waddell, and 9 grandchildren, Jesse, Stephanie, Brittania, Jerrod, Devon, Jordan, Taylor, Victoria, and Brandon. Numerous great grandchildren, his sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews will also miss him.
Dennis was born in Whittier, California, in 1942. He graduated from Arroyo High School in El Monte, where he met the love of his life, Linda, and married her in 1962.
Dennis was a passionate storyteller, captivating everyone with his tales and imparting wisdom through his caring guidance. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, and spending time with his family.
Our family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Dennis Hardcastle at a later date (to be announced).
