Dennis Hobbs

Dennis Dale Hobbs, 78, of Wichita Falls, TX, formerly of Sweetwater and Trent, TX, passed away at his residence Saturday, August 9, 2025. His wishes were cremation. No further services are planned at this time. Dennis was born March 23, 1947 in Sweetwater, Texas to Jimmie and Lucille (Worley) Hobbs. Dennis was raised in Trent and graduated from Trent High School in 1965. He married Shelia Webb September 25, 1965 at the First Christian Church in Sweetwater, TX. Dennis worked and retired from Lucent Technologies as an Installer. He was also vice president of the union. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Hobbs of Wichita Falls, TX, a daughter, Tamme Denise Hamill of Wichita Falls, TX, a sister, Janis Andrews of Bennington, OK, two grandchildren, Colton Tyler Hobbs and Justin Cade Hamill of Benninton, OK, a niece, Mary Lou Cook and husband Doyle of Saint Jo, TX, 5 nephews, Todd Andrews, Ted Andrews, and Craig Andrews, Randy Hobbs and wife Lori, Rodney Hobbs and wife Debbie . He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Scott "Scottie" Hobbs, his parents, Jimmie and Lucille Hobbs, a brother, Jimmy Carol Hobbs, a sister, Maxine Emerson and her husband Henry.
