Dennis Hobbs Obituary

Dennis was born in Harnett County on August 21, 1958 to the late Welton Boydner Hobbs and Maybelle Coats Hobbs.
Dennis is also preceded in death by a great nephew Preston Wood.
He is survived and loved by his wife of 13 years, Penny Farmer; son, Travis Hobbs; step-son, Matthew McLeod (Beverly); grandsons, Tucker and Mason Hobbs; sister, Rita Hobbs; brother, Andy Hobbs (Diane); nieces, Amanda Pope (Jimmie), Billie Joe Williford, Suzanne Hobbs; and nephew, Ron Hamilton (Dana); and loved by many other nieces and nephews; and his dog, Layla.
He loved spending time outdoors, fishing, and visiting his neighbors. He also loved spending time with his family, and his dog Layla. Dennis loved all kinds of animals and he had a talent for playing the drums.
He will be greatly missed.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
