Denny Huckfeldt, age 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Lemont Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born on November 19, 1949 to the late Valdeen and Verna Huckfeldt. He proudly served his country as a United States Air Force member. Denny worked for many years for EJ&E Railroad.
Denny is survived by his loving wife, Lana Huckfeldt; his children, Bruce Huckfeldt, Jeff Huckfeldt, Kevin Huckfeldt and Michelle Huckfeldt; his grandson, Liam Huckfeldt; his sister, Carolea Majack ; his brother, Steven Smith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Valdeen Huckfeldt & Verna Smith; and brother, Rick Huckfeldt.
Funeral services for Denny Huckfeldt will be Friday, August 30, 2024 with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12:30 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home Chapel, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet. Interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet.
