Dennis J. Kidder, known as "DK," age 73, of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away on July 9, 2025, at Cooper University Hospital.
Born on November 15, 1951, in Camden, New Jersey, Dennis was raised in the close-knit community of Grenloch Terrace, where he spent his childhood surrounded by cousins and friends. He is survived by his daughter Randy (Scott), his cherished grandchildren Emily and Ian, and his sister Amy.
Dennis had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He was an avid NASCAR fan, a devoted Beatles listener, and a regular at his local VFW post, where he enjoyed spending time with friends. Proud beyond measure of his grandchildren, he was always eager to share their accomplishments and offer advice to anyone in need. In his younger years, Dennis rode his motorcycle across the country, falling in love with the wide-open landscapes of the American West. He also had a passion for photography, capturing memorable images of some of our greatest artists, including Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and Frank Zappa. When his daughter was younger, he took a job as a floor guard at the local roller rink, taking the opportunity to spend time with her while she competed as a figure skater. In the 1980s, he worked at the Suzuki plant and was a proud member of the United Auto Workers (UAW). Over the years, he also put his skills to work in carpentry and flooring installation, spending time with Omrod Flooring.
A true neighbor, Dennis was always ready to lend a hand. His phone calls, witty sense of humor, and steady presence will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the New Jersey High School Rodeo Association, 1060 Macopin Rd West Milford, Nj 07480, an organization close to his heart.
A Celebration of Life luncheon (12-4) will be held on August 2nd at VFW Post 679, Glassboro, New Jersey.
