Bloomfield – Dennis J. Kuttruff, age 78, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, February 9, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kate Kuttruff; six children, Emma Kuttruff, Heather (Tony) deAngelo, Kimberly Lekki-Ratcliffe (Scott Ratcliffe), James Andres, David (Shannon) Andres and Karen Davis; ten grandchildren, William, Spencer, Dominic, Gregory, Mia, Josh, Dave, Gracen, Miranda and Keaton; two siblings, Gary (Janet) Kuttruff and Debra VanSlyke; aunt, Irma Norton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Dale Kuttruff, in 1993.
Dennie was born in Rochester and was the son of Roland and Betty (Brasser) Kuttruff. He grew up in Walworth and was a graduate of Wayne Central High School, class of 1963. Dennie served with the US Air Force from 1966-1969. He worked as a construction executive, retiring in 2011 after 45 years with Delmonte Hotel Group.
Dennie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, camping and golfing. He also enjoyed travel and spending time with family and friends.
Friends may call Monday, February 19, from 4-7pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 2 South Ave., Bloomfield. His funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 20, at 11am, at St. Bridget's Church, 15 Church St., Bloomfield. Interment will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
