Mr. Dennis Eugene Lang, 63, passed away on February 22, 2022 at Regency Hospital in Meridian. Dennis was born on March 3, 1958, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Helen and the late Wylie Lang. Dennis was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a self-employed mechanic for 20 years and he would work on and fix anything. He was very outgoing, helpful, and kind. If you called him for help, he would drop what he was doing and come help. You could often find him around the grill. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He loved his canine companion, Ruby. He married Marie Lang on November 5, 2006, in Bay Springs. He was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, February 28, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Lang: one daughter, Stacy Berry: one son, Jim Lang: three grandchildren, Ross, Miranda, and Wylie Berry; his mother, Helen Lang: one brother, Mike Fullen (Marty), all of West Point and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ross Berry, Charlie Davidson, Zach Duncan, David Livingston, Brandon Tirey, and Wayne Tinker.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Tinker, Reggie Tinker, Wylie Berry, and Carter Lang.
