Dennis Todd Lisius

Dennis Lisius, 82 passed away on July 28, 2025 in Redmond, Oregon surrounded by family.

Dennis was raised in western North Dakota and Redmond, Oregon with his 2 brothers. He moved to Redmond permanently after graduating from high school in North Dakota. In Redmond, he began working at the wood remanufacturing mill while helping his dad build houses. He continued working at the mill for 42 years, through 7 different mill owners, retiring as a manager.

Dennis married Karen Lisius in Redmond in 1964. They had been married just short of 61 years when she passed on July 3, 2025. Dennis and Karen loved traveling and visited many parts of United States in their trailer after they retired. Dennis excelled at sports. He was an avid bowler, softball player, fisherman and golfer. When he wasn't outside, he spent time woodworking, making much of the furniture for his home.

Dennis is survived by his daughters Stephanie and Sherri Lisius, and his siblings Jim and Don Lisius. He will be missed by his family and friends.

There will be no funeral services, per Dennis's wishes. Those who want to send condolences to his family should write to his home address. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Backcountry Hunters and Anglers or the Redmond Community Presbyterian church are appreciated.
