It is with profound sadness and love that we announce the passing of Dennis Vance Neuteboom, an extraordinary husband, devoted father, cherished uncle, loyal friend, and beloved neighbor. He passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at the age of 63, surrounded by those he loved most.
Born on January 5, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dennis lived a life marked by generosity, humility, and quiet strength. He believed in the power of kindness, the importance of community, and the value of a good story told around the kitchen table, where everyone was welcome, eating yummy food he had prepared.
Those who knew Dennis will remember a man who listened more than he spoke, who gave generously of his time and heart, and who found joy in life’s little things — especially when shared with family and friends.
As a husband, Dennis was a partner in every sense of the word—steadfast, supportive, and deeply loving. His marriage to Allison was a testament to mutual respect and enduring affection, a bond that served as a model for those around them.
As a father, he was present—always. He helped with homework, listened without judgment, and gave the kind of hugs that made the world feel safe. His daughter, Liz, will carry his wisdom, warmth, and unwavering love with her always.
Zoey was more than a pet; she was his shadow, his confidante, and his truest friend. Through long walks, quiet evenings, and countless adventures, the bond between them was something rare and beautiful — a testament to the purest kind of love.
To his nieces and nephews, he was the fun uncle Denny —the one who remembered birthdays, showed up to every milestone and would share a well-timed joke. To his friends, he was family. And to his neighbors, he was the one you could count on, whether it was a tool to borrow, a feast to share, or just a good conversation on the front porch.
Dennis worked hard, lived simply, and gave generously. He found joy in the little things — building intricate LEGO sets, cooking up something delicious, and watching HGTV or wrestling matches with his daughter, Liz. He loved sitting on the back patio playing Rummy around the fire. A passionate golfer, Dennis played courses all over the world, including the legendary St. Andrews in Scotland. He was also an avid and devoted University of Utah football fan!
He is survived by his wife, daughter Liz, brother Michael James Neuteboom, extended family, and by a wide circle of friends and neighbors who will miss his steady presence and easy smile. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Earl Neuteboom and Norma Kay Neuteboom and his grandson Kayden Neuteboom
A celebration of Dennis will be held on July 22, 2025, at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary located at 727 N 400 E, Bountiful, UT 84010 from 5:00-8:00pm.
Dennis may no longer walk among us, but his spirit lives on—in every act of kindness, every shared meal, and every moment of laughter he inspired. He is, and will always be, deeply loved. "Dennis will be greatly missed!"
