Age 78 passed away peacefully on 7/16/25. Dennis P. Pattock passed into eternal life on 16th July 2025 at the age of 78 after a long illness. Dennis is survived by wife Irene, daughters Ann Pattock and Sarah (Nate) Dzwik; grandsons J.D., Wally, Milo and Frankie; sisters Esther LaJoy and Kathy (Bob) Klosowski. Preceded in death by his parents Blase and Anna Pattock; sister Joan (Ron) Duags and brother in law Bob LaJoy." He was a lifelong Garden City resident and parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle (formerly St. Raphael) Catholic Church, actively supporting the parish community in many ways during his lifetime. Dennis was a caring father and grandfather and prioritized his family's comfort and security above his own. He was a proud Michigan State alumni and passionate Spartan fan. While he enjoyed watching many local sports teams, nothing gave him greater joy than following his grandsons' athletic accomplishments. In his free time, Dennis also carried on the family tradition of gardening, caring for his mother's lilacs and backyard garden for decades and passing on a love of nature to his children. He also enjoyed working on cars, maintaining every car he owned well past its expected lifespan. Dennis also like to drive cars and channel this into volunteering as a driver for the American Cancer society, taking patients to their treatments until his health forced him to stop. He will be greatly missed. Visitation Friday 2 pm – 8 pm with a 7pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In state Saturday 9:30 am until the 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Angela Hospice
