Dennis was a graduate of St. James High School, class of 1960 and enjoyed a long career as a machinist at the Boeing Company before retiring in 2004. He had been a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church and was devoted to his late wife and their family.
He was the husband of the late Patricia L. Harris Preston who died on October 30, 2023 after 35 years of marriage, father of Carmela Spada (Scott) and the late Gene Scott, grandfather of Brittany Spada (Paul) and Nicholas Scott, great-grandfather of Blyler, McKenna, Julie and Maeve and was also the brother of the late Edward Preston.
Services and burial will be held privately.
