Dennis Wayne Rahn, age 72 of Kingman, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. He was born in Crawfordsville on November 15, 1952 to the late Paul J. and Helen Doreen (Drollinger) Rahn.
Dennis graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1971 and went on to embrace life as a proud farmer. His commitment to his community was evident in his roles as a volunteer firefighter for the Jackson Township Fire Department and a member of the Kingman American Legion. He truly believed in lending a helping hand and was a dependable friend to many. He was a loving father and grandfather that loved his family dearly. He had a great since of humor and was always making people laugh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting and collecting guns, tractor pulls, and spending time with his grandkids. Dennis will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the laughter and love he shared throughout his life.
He is survived by his four children, Ross (Alexis) Houchens, Shelbie Baldwin, Luke (Megan) Rahn, and Megan (Travis) Haslam; 12 grandchildren, Lakely, Milynn, Kinsley, Phoenyx, Zatanna, Emerson, Lane, Holden, Bristol, Haisley, Leighton, and Walker; a brother, Dale (Jolie) Rahn; three sisters, Nancy Rahn, Sharry Fears, and Jane Swank; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be at Sanders Funeral Care, 203 S 1st Street, in Kingman on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 11:00am till the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the South Fountain Pioneers, 10 E 500 S, Veedersburg, IN 47987 or the Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department, 3898 S State Road 341, Hillsboro, IN 47949.
