Dennis J. Shoulders was born December 29, 1971, in Mount Carmel, IL., the son of Dennis J. and Mearly (Thompson) Shoulders. Dennis attended Lawrenceville, IL elementary and High Schools but left before graduation to enlist in the U. S. The next step for Dennis was to enroll in ITT Technical Institute in Evansville, IN where he studied Drafting, Design and Layout for Technical Systems Deployment. The Institute was closed just before Dennis could graduate but the background and his studies led him to ALSON Fiber Technology where he Planned and Designed Fiber Optic installations in cities and towns across the country. He was still employed when his health began to fail and in spite of that, he worked from home until his final illness.
Surviving are his wife Jennifer (Huff) Shoulders whom he married on September 13, 2014, and his family and their family molded into one large homogenous unit. Besides Jennifer, Dennis' mother Mearly Shoulders of Wabash County survives as well as a daughter Sarah (Zac) Clifton, Whiteville NC, sons Jason Beasley of Robinson, IL, Blake (Lyndee) Shoulders, Robinson, IL, Gavin Shoulders, Robinson, IL, Logan Shoulders & Arionna Gaddis, Robinson, IL, and Trevor Shoulders, Robinson, IL, Gunner Shoulders, Robinson, IL.
