Born in Jersey City on January 19, 1949, Dennis had a full catholic education. Dennis earned an MBA and CPA. He was highly respected in his field and he was proud of being named the Holy Name Society's Man of the Year in 2018 for his involvement and contributions. He belonged to the ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out) Group, the Former Financial Council, and the Holy Name Society at St. Thomas the Apostle.
Denniss greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his four grandchildren. He always took care of his friends and family. His kind-hearted nature was evident through his constant acts of generosity.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Lucille Sutton, their daughter Jennifer Voss and son-in-law John Voss, their daughter Danielle Vinh and son-in-law Jason Vinh, as well as their cherished grandchildren Samantha, Aiden, Cameron, and Brielle. His entire extended family will always remember him fondly.
To honor Dennis' memory and celebrate his life, visitation will be held at Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003, on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass will take place at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, situated at 60 Byrd Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 9:30 AM, with entombment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
Dennis Sutton touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
