Dennis Wilson Tollett, age 82, of Crossville, TN, passed away at his home surrounded by family on August 18, 2024.
He was born on February 9, 1942, in Crossville. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Wilson Lanier Tollett and Gertrude (Tabor) Tollett.
He was a loving husband to Elsie Tollett and a devoted father to his daughter Kimberly Tollett Phipps (Mitchell). He will be deeply missed by his family, including his grandchildren, Amelia Morgan Wilson (Nicholas), Olivia McCoy Cobb (Jake), and Mary Beth Phipps Winningham (Jordan); and great-grandchildren, Annaliese Wilson, Miles Wilson, Jace Winningham, Maci Winningham, and Waylon Winningham; and brother, Marvin Dale Tollett (Sue).
Dennis was first and foremost, a faithful man of God. He worked in construction, opened his own garage door business, and served in the Army National Guard. He found joy in God's creation and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed working on his farm, spending time with his family, and being a member of Faith Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held at Tollett's Chapel Cemetery on Wednesday, August to 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
The family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
