Dennis Vance Obituary

Mr. Vance was born in Jefferson County, Alabama on August 22, 1952, son of the late W.D. Vance and the late Martha Hays Vance. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was a Boilermaker with the Local 454. Mr. Vance was a member of Redemption Church in Rome and was a former member of the Shanklin Attaway Post #5 of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, traveling to California to visit family, and bowling and was a member of the Lucky Strike Bowling League.
Survivors include three sisters, Becky Kinsey (Alton), Annette New, and Connie Aycock (Todd); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 4pm at Redemption Church of Rome. Pastor Nick Jones will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 2pm until 3:45pm.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, is honored to serve the family of Mr. Dennis Wayne Vance.
