Dennis W. Weibley
MOUNT WOLF – Dennis W. Weibley, 79, of Mount Wolf, Pa, passed away, Friday, October 10, 2025, in Perry County. He is the husband of Cheryl A. (Werner) Weibley.
Dennis was born October 13, 1945, in Dauphin County, PA and was the son of the late Galen and Lillian (Thebes) Weibley.
He graduated in 1963 from Greenwood Senior High School in Millerstown, PA. He retired from Caterpillar after 27 years and then worked at Newark Paperboard in York and Pro Pallet in Dover for several years until the desire of having retirement fun kicked in. He was a member of the Hawks Club in York and the Starview Sportsmen's Association in Mount Wolf, PA. He enjoyed spending time at their cabin in the woods of Perry County. He enjoyed hunting, especially with his nephews, and fishing. He bowled for many years mainly at Fun Bowl and East Lincoln Lanes and bowled a 300 game during those years. He coached girls' softball in the 80's. He was always ready to help friends and family with anything they needed, and he enjoyed hosting picnics and get togethers.
In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his daughter, Tammie Ensor and her fiancé, Mike of Manchester; his stepson, William Werner and his wife Barbara of Simpsonville, SC; four step granddaughters, Brittany, Valerie, Katelin, Teagan, one step--grandson, Alex; one step great granddaughter, Layla; brothers, George Weibley and his wife Kim of Mount Wolf, and Kent Weibley and his wife Kim of York; four nephews, Kent, Galen, Hunter, and David, one niece Jeorice, two great nephews Brady and Vaun, and one great niece, Mayim. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
A celebration of life service will begin at 7:30 PM, Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 South Main Street, Mount Wolf, PA. His visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. His burial will be private.
