Visitation for Dennis W. Ziencina Jr., 57, of Norridge, formerly of Lake Zurich, will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Prayers will begin Monday, January 6th, at 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, and proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Willow Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Vernon Hills.
Dennis was born June 21, 1967, in the Philippines and came to the US in 1970. He was a graduate of Wheeling High School.
Dennis was the dear son of Rosie and the Late Dennis Sr.; life partner of Diane Keitel of 12 years. Brother of Catherine (Delbert Jr.) Cogswell, and Lisa (Randy Berman) Beckner; loving uncle of Megan (Nathan) Sutton, Trevor (Alyona) Cogswell, Kelly Cogswell and Jordan Cogswell. He is also survived by his Grandniece, Azura; and grandnephew, Wyatt.
In addition to being an amazing brother and great person to everyone he met, he was also a fun and awesome uncle, he was an avid flower gardener, loved aquatic fish, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs and loved listening to Classic Rock music. Christmas was his ultimate holiday.
