Deon Abram Obituary

Deon attended School at Pleasant Hill Elementary and graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1996. She later attended college at Southern University in Baton Rouge, La.
Her religious training began at an early age at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she was baptized. She later united with First Thessalonian Missionary Baptist Church where she was a loving faithful, and active member.
She worked in the Bogalusa City School System for years as a Paraprofessional with Special needs children at both Byrd Avenue and Central Elementary.
She was a very loving and caring person. She had a love and passion for everyone, especially children. Every child that came in contact with her felt loved and knew they had a forever safe place. She was the one, no matter what, that always made sure everyone was good at all times.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her mother, Mary McCloud; one sister, Shannon Abram; three brothers, Curtis (Nicole) Abram, Jr., Derrick and Darren Lee; three nieces, Jeronica Graves, Brithany Abram, and LA' Sean Harrison; three nephews, Jalen and Ja'Keithon Graves, and Curtis Abram III, also her Godson; two aunts, Debrah (Charles) Plummer, and Katie (Gill) Williams; four great nephews; five great nieces; and a host of children she helped raise, cousin, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, LaTyjahnae S. Douglas; two sisters, Monique Magee, and Cynthia Lee; and grandparents, Henry, and Oree Robinson.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 11:00AM at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas Hart – Pastor Officiating. Interment will be held at the Duffy Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements. Please sign guestbook at www.crainandsons.com.
