Derek Briscoe Obituary
Derek was a 2019 homeschool graduate and had recently completed his first year at Charis Bible College in Colorado. While homeschooling, he played basketball for Community Christian School for 7 years.
Derek enjoyed going to church at Woodland Bible Church and spending time with his church family. He enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball, disc golf or pickleball. You could also find him relaxing by playing his guitar, shooting guns, or watching old tv shows. The activities he loved the most were the ones he got to do with his family.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie and Janafer, his love and memories will be cherished by his brother, Sawyer Briscoe; sisters, Payton Briscoe and Zowie Briscoe; his paternal grandparents, Donnie and Norma Briscoe; maternal grandfather, Tim (Lynn) Patterson; maternal grandmother, Jana (Brian) Chaffin; and his beloved pups, Lincoln and Sunday.
Derek's devotion, unwavering faith and love for Jesus, even through the hardest of times, was an inspiration to everyone.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 pm on Monday July 1, 2024, at the Woodland Bible Church, 835 W County Road 300 N, Connersville. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 pm until the hour of the service.
