Derek William Stevens, age 35, of Alto, passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

Born on April 22, 1990, in Dahlonega, Georgia, Derek was preceded in death by his adoptive mother, Diane Williamson; his grandfather, Billy Norrell; and his grandmother, Nancy McCarey.

Derek was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He dedicated his life to his family and to his business, D&D Enterprises of Northeast Georgia . A man of many passions, Derek especially enjoyed duck hunting and fishing, but his greatest love was drifting. Whether spending time outdoors or under the hood of a car, he brought energy, skill, and heart to everything he did.

He is survived by his loving wife, Devin Stevens; daughter, Billie Jean Stevens; and son, Bodie Stevens. He is also survived by his parents, Tracy and Danette Stevens; adoptive father, Bodie Williamson; grandmother, Evelyn Norrell; grandfather, Teddy Stevens; and his siblings: Travis Stevens, Brandan Stevens, Cory Stevens, Brittany Stevens, Devin Stevens, Austin Stevens, and Jordan Stevens, adoptive siblings, Bruce McCall, Stacy McCall, Kevin Williamson, Shannon McEachin along with many other cherished family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Crossover Church, Cleveland, GA.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
