He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Frankie Lou Wethington; maternal grandparents, Luther Spear and Patricia Bridgeman; and aunt, Patricia Wethington.
Mr. Wethington is survived by his father, Dirk Wethington (Becca Ford); mother, Shawn Sandlin (Dale Carpenter); daughters, Madison Jewell and Paisley Elise Wethington; fiancé, Ashley Crisp; brother, Kyle Len Spear; sister Tricia Porter (Jacob); nephew, Gavin Owen; and niece, Savannah Porter.
The funeral service for Mr. Wethington will be held at Sellars Family Heritage at Portland on Friday, July 11th, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tony Willis officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Forrest Chapel Free Methodist Church Cemetery in Westmoreland, TN with Jason Wethington, Josh Hager, Taylor Tuck, Brad Willoughby, Jacob Porter, Chad Wethington, Todd Wethington, and Wayne Wethington serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, July 10th from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Friday, July 11th from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
