Derrick Tyler Davis, age 28, of McKeesport, died September 1, 2024. Born August 1, 1996, in McKeesport, he was the son of Brooke J. Davis and Jeffrey Howard.
Derrick will be deeply missed and remembered by his beautiful smile, amazing hugs, generous and loving spirit. He loved his family and friends and was not afraid to show that love. Derrick also loved his French Bulldog, Nala, and Simba (the family cat), and spoiled them rotten. Derrick's family came first, and the many friends he called family also came first. We were all blessed to have had you in our lives for 28 years, thank you for the love and beautiful memories. Derrick was a graduate of Propel Homestead, Class of 2014.
In addition to his parents, Derrick is survived by his brother, Dasan Watson; sisters, Chyanne Howard, Jada Howard, and Angela Weimer; grandparents, Michele (Richard) Parrish; uncle, Brandon Davis; aunt, Lori Schuster; great-aunts, Cheryl "Gigi" Copeland and Sharon O'Connor; great-uncle, Leon Baich; and cousins, La Daija Glover, Kinsley, Ace, and Luke Davis; best friend, Amp; God children, baby Amp and Delaney.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles Davis; great-grandma, Sarah Hoak; and aunt, Nicole Davis.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 2 p.m. until the funeral service at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
