Derrick Deloach Obituary
Derrick Jerome DeLoach was born on March 22, 1973, in Metter, Georgia, to Sherman Weaver Sr and Mary DeLoach Hall. He departed this life unexpectedly on December 23, 2025.
Derrick, affectionately known to many as "DJ," was a dedicated truck driver for many years. He found peace and purpose on the open road and took pride in his work. Outside of his career, Derrick enjoyed fishing and listening to blues music, which brought him comfort and joy. Above all else, he cherished being a father and grandfather, roles that meant the most to him and defined his legacy.
Derrick was preceded in death by his father, Sherman Weaver Sr his maternal grandparents James Deloach and Irene DeLoach.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his four daughters, Katherine DeLoach, Xena DeLoach, Delana DeLoach, and Zion DeLoach; his son, Cardamien Baker; and his beloved grandson, Jaxon DeLoach. He is also survived by his mother, Mary DeLoach Hall; sisters, Maria Columbus, Jessica Hall, LaShasta Weaver; brothers, Johnnie Hall II, James Hall, Sherman Weaver Jr., and Saint Weaver; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Derrick Jerome DeLoach will be remembered for his love of family, his hardworking spirit, and the quiet joy he found in life's simple pleasures. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
His funeral plans will be announced at a later date.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
