Detrenell Michelle Downing

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Detrenell Michelle Downing, affectionately known as "Ma-Ma." Detrenell was born on June 11, 1993, in Detroit, Michigan, and departed this life on Friday, March 7th leaving behind cherished memories and an unbreakable legacy of love and kindness.
Detrenell was a joyful spirit, known for her sweet and genuine heart. She lived a life full of warmth, always spreading kindness and laughter wherever she went. She had an unwavering love for her children, whom she cherished with all her heart.
A proud graduate of Dublin High School, Detrenell worked diligently at Pema, where she made lasting friendships and a meaningful impact on those around her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Gloria Downing, John Brown Jr., Melvin Jordan as well as Kiah, RJ, Miyori (Yella), and Richard (Richboy). Detrenell leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children: Ny'ledge Downing, Kobi Downing, Ahyri Hodges, and Ky'rah Graddy; her devoted and loving parents: Gloria (Kendrick Floyd) Downing and Ira Dale (Ellen Morrison)
Munn; grandparent, Betty Jordan, and her beloved siblings: Mary Munn, Ira Munn, Deandre Munn, Nakisha Downing, Aveonia Downing, Tiara Downing, Gary Munn, Deonte Downing, and Trinity Downing. She is also survived by a host of family members who will forever hold her dear, including her aunts: Melba Poole, Detrenell Harris, Magnolia (Cedric) Irvin, Tomika Downing, and her uncle John (Gina) Downin and great uncle John (Kina) Brown who will all continue to honor her memory.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22nd, at 1:00 PM in the Dublin Middle School Gym. Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to gather to celebrate Detrenell's beautiful life and pay their final respects. Though she has departed this world way too soon, Detrenell's loving spirit and the memories she created will remain forever in our hearts. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
