Tommie was born to the late Felton and Daisy Beard. Tommie attended Millville School of the Millville community.
Tommie Lee Beard passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Fairview Park Hospital at the age of 99. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Algra Hunt-Beard and two daughters, Thomasina Anderson and Thomasina Hatcher.
He is survived by three sons, Wayne Beard (Brenda), Timothy Beard (Kathy) of Dublin and Tommy Lee Beard of Augusta, Georgia; three daughters: Sandra Beard-Nelson (Deryl) of Milledgeville, Georgia, Patricia Waters (Donal) of Hephzibah, Georgia, Pamela Wheatley of Augusta, Georgia, and one brother Ralph Beard of Macon, Georgia, along with a host of grandchildren , great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
