Devin C. Brummitt

Devin C. Brummitt, age 21, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 22,2004, in Troy, Ohio, to his parents Donald and Kristina (Barker) Brummitt.
Devin will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those who knew and loved him, in addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters: Lyndsay Brummitt, Troy, OH; Victoria (Jason) Cash, Melbourne, FL; and his maternal grandparents: Terry and Sally Barker, Sidney, OH. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Ina Wilson.
Devin graduated from Covington High School class of 2022 and Upper Valley Career Center with a certification in Pre-engineering and Design Technology. He attended Edison State Community College before joining the U.S. Marine Corps to proudly serve his country. In High School Devin ran track and cross country and was the league champion in the 800-meter dash. He was a gamer and had fun bowling. He greatly enjoyed being outdoors, kayaking, running and participating in 5K races and getting time on his four-wheeler but what he really got a kick from was setting off fireworks and as he would say best "Blowing **it up". What Devin loved most was spending time with his friends and family whenever he could.
A Time to Honor the Life of Devin will be held Monday November 10,2025 at 1:00pm at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua, with Chaplain Rick Johnson officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio with Full Military honors presented by the U.S. Marine Corps. Family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to service at the funeral home.
