Devin Lane Obituary
Devin graduated from Guy-Perkins High School in 2019 and received a Diesel Mechanic Certification from ASU Searcy. Devin also worked for Otis Elevator as a second-year elevator apprentice.
He loved his dog Annie, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed hunting, trucks- especially "Chevys", 4-wheelers, mudding, Snap-On tools, playing Baggo, bonfires, and music- especially Hank Williams, Jr.
Devin was a mechanic, building his first truck at only 15 years old. He worked with his hands and could fix anything. He was an all-around good guy with a smile that could light up a room. Devin worked hard, but he also played hard, enjoying many adventures with his family and friends.
Devin is survived by his parents, David and Starr Lane and his brother Noah all of Greenbrier; grandparents, Samuel and Pamela Lane and Gwen Mosby all of Guy, Pam and Victor Allison of Russellville; great-grandmothers, Caroline Wiedower of Guy, Anna Allison of Greenbrier, and Mary Starr Mosby of Conway; uncles, Aaron Allison of Enola, Seth (Heather) Allison of Greenbrier, Jason (Ashley) Lane of Greenbrier, Arkansas; aunt, Christie Lane Hudelson of Little Rock, Arkansas; numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Joe Mosby, James Allison, Daniel Faye Wiedower and Lawrence Lane; and his great-grandmother, Hilda Lane.
Pallbearers are Noah Lane, Aaron Allison, Seth Allison, Jason Lane, Justin Cupit, Kaleb Parker, Jared Davidson, and Cade Rowlett.
Honorary pallbearers are Beck Hudelson, Wyatt Hudelson, Jackson Lane, Chris Cupit, Billy Brown, Scotty Alberson, Burt Wilson, and Ray Davidson.
Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Friday, December 22, 2023 at The Castle in Guy, Arkansas with burial following at Old Texas Cemetery with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating.

Devin was always the life of the party, no matter what mood you were in he could always get you out of it and cheer you up. Devin was a really down to earth guy that would give you the shirt off of his back. There was times I didn´t know where I would stay when I came to town to visit and he always told me I had a place on the couch if I needed it. You couldn´t ask for a better friend than Devin lane. He will be missed dearly.
