Devin M. South

Devin Michael South, age 21, of Kent, Ohio passed away suddenly on Monday, June 20. 2022 at UH Portage Medical Center.
Devin was born March 22, 2001 in Ravenna, Ohio to Lee South and Pebble Sawyer.
To know Devin was to love him. He was friends with everyone he met. He was a very successful young entrepreneur and he enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, friends, and family. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, and he really loved his garden. He was also an outdoorsman and a collector of many things. He had a love for animals and making people happy.
Devin is survived by his parents, Lee South, and Pebble Sawyer; his older brother, Brandon South; grandparents, grandpa, Leroy South; grandma, Amy Sharp; great grandmother, Alice Hansen; cousin, Curtis Hansen; uncle, Eric Hansen; aunt, Belinda Hansen; little cousins, Easton and Oliver Hansen; aunt, Kelly Sharp; uncle, Paul Swigart; nephews, Pauly and Dylan Swigart, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends, and all of his beloved pets.
He was preceded in death by his cousin, David Hansen, beloved Great Grandparents and his grandfather. Terry Sawyer.
A celebration will be held at a later date, cremation services in care of Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory. The family has set up a GoFundMe account in his name to make monetary donations.
