Devon Atkins Obituary
Mr. Devon Brandon Atkins, age 17, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. He was born August 28, 2005, in Forsyth County, to his parents, Derrick Brandon Atkins and Teresa Nichole Burcham Atkins. Devon was a loving and kind son that loved everyone. He also loved dirt bikes, racing and the Lord. In addition to his parents, left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Jagger Lee Martin (Natalie Nyamber Meredith), and Dalton Ray Atkins; grandparents, Ronald and Teresa Burcham, Kimberly Jarvis and Charles Pierce, and Brad Hull; his uncles and aunts, Uncle Chris, Jody and Amelia Burcham and kids, Miranda and Jason Cregger and kids, and Lauryn Hull and kids, and Darren Atkins; great grandmother Sharon Oakley Jarvis; and a nephew, Ezekiel Astin Martin. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Mark Edward Atkins.
A Celebration of Devon’s life will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Central View Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Gentry officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Atkins Family.
