He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice Lee & Joseph Mitchell; two brothers, Jamie Johnson and Cedric Johnson; three uncles, Kenthrew Leverette, Calvin Leverette and Andrus Johnson; three aunts, Shirley McSwain, Veronica Davis and Erma Lee McCann.
He leave to cherish his memories: two aunts, Shelia Leverette and Cransy (Nehemiah) Ruffin both of Battles, MS; four nephews; a special friend, Louise "Lucy" Whigham of Waynesboro, MS; two special cousins, Kendra Hicks and Kash Hicks of Waynesboro, MS; a host of relatives, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in State Line, MS. Funeral services were officiated by Bishop John Sullivan.
The viewing period was Friday, October 10, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
