AT 12:30 PM on the afternoon of October 8, 2025, the gentle voice of "come home" was whispered in the ear of MR. ROBERT CLARK, SR., and an active life in the earthly dimension came to a close.
Born on August 7, 1942 to the union of the late Roosevelt Clark and Pearlie Jones, Mr. Clark completed high school in Laurel, MS. He worked at Harrison Lumber Company until retirement.
He loved to hunt and fish, and he also enjoyed watching westerns. "The Rifleman" was his favorite western, by far. He also liked to watch wrestling matches, and a couple of other favorite television shows of his were "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "In The Heat Of The Night."
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and one brother, Eddie Jones.
He leaves fond memories to be cherished to his two sons: Robert Clark, Jr. and Johnny Clark; stepchildren: Linda Taylor, Marcus Taylor, Cassandra Taylor, Christopher Taylor, and Edward Taylor; seven grandchildren: Tina Taylor, Curtis Taylor, Robin Arrington, Germecca Bolton, Sharon Taylor, Shamara Taylor and Emily Taylor, and a host of great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery #2 in Laurel, MS. Mr. Clark's viewing will occur Friday, October 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
