Publish in a newspaper

"My son was a great and generous person at heart. He loved to help people who needed help. I will miss my son. I will miss how he helped me, and I will miss his presence most of all."-Ms. Louise Parrish, mother.

JOHNNIE LEE, III was born on April 20, 2004 in Fort Lauderdale, FL to the union of Johnnie Lee, Sr. and Louise Parrish. He graduated from Wayne County High School. "50 Bandz," as he was known by many in the community, liked to dance and sing.

"50" also had a natural talent for drawing, beginning at the age of 7. Any picture you would give him, he could sketch it. At Wayne County High, there is a drawing of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. he created that is still on display. He also garnered an award for his art while in school.

Two other interests he had were riding his bicycle and skateboarding. On the afternoon of September 13, 2025, "50 Bandz" was called home to eternity while a patient at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

He leaves many happy memories with his mother: Louise Parrish of Waynesboro, MS; father: Johnnie Lee, Sr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one sister: Aaliyah Lee of Texas; grandmother: Gloria May; a special aunt: Sherika Battles; a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lee, III was preceded in death by his brother: Patrick Harmon and his maternal grandfather: Preston Parrish.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home, with interment following at Waynesboro Cemetery. The viewing period will occur Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
