Markest Miller was born on March 6, 1990, to Mamie L. Smith and Louis Carter in Meridian, MS. He departed this life on Friday, August 29, at Ochsner Hospital in Quitman, MS. He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and three aunts. Markest attended Quitman High School. He attended Center Ridge Baptist Church at an early age. He was known as a dear father to his children and a family man who loved laughter. He was a welder and a mechanic before his health changed. Markest leaves many to cherish his precious memories: a devoted wife, Ebony Miller; children: Patty, Madison, Markest Jr.(MJ and Jayden; loving mother, Mamie Smith; brothers Joseph(Laquida)Miller; Johnny(Carlina)Miller, Travis Miller of Gulfport, MS; Terrance(Shabrunkia) Evans of Altair, MS; Kerry Jackson of Atlanta, GA; Tyriece Jackson and Felandrius Jackson of Racine, WI; Sisters: Nancy (Glen) McCory of Gulfport, MS; Krystal Jackson of North Carolina; and Shanetta Stevens of Quitman, MS; friends: Shawn Clark, Tracy McCarty and Clyde Owens; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives.
