WONCH, Dewey – of Otter Lake, age 66, died Thursday, August 22, 2024, at McLaren Hospital in Lapeer. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be a private graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Genesee County Animal Control.
Dewey was born June 17, 1958, in Saginaw, to the late Nelba (Ragan) Wonch. He attended Kearsley High School where he received his high school diploma with the class of 1976. Dewey worked as a dialysis and surgery tech at the former Flint Osteopathic Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital for many years before opening a graphics design business in Flint, the Drawing Room Graphics along with Busy Bee Printing. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. Dewey enjoyed traveling, antique cars, collecting trinkets, and above all, spending time with his loyal companion, Toby.
Dewey is forever remembered by his Siblings: Doug (Tenia) Wonch, Tony (Kathy) Wonch, and Kevin (Laurie) Wonch; Loyal companion and best friend, Toby; Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.
