Stanley Wonch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel on Dec. 31, 2022.
WONCH, Stanley "Stan" - of Montrose, formerly of Flint, died Friday, December 30, 2022, at Ascension Genesys of Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors Friday, January 6, 2023, from 12PM until 5PM at O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Honoring Stan's wishes, cremation will follow.
Stan was born December 8, 1956, in Flint, to the late Nelba (Ragan) Wonch. He attended Kearsley High School where he received his high school diploma and worked as an electrician for the City of Flint for many years until his retirement. He was married to Rhonda Wonch. Rhonda preceded Stan in death. In his spare time, Stan enjoyed going for rides on his Harley Davidson and liked attending the local car shows to see the antique cars. He loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved German Shepherd, Karly. Stan always had a smile on his face and his contagious personality could light up any room he entered. He was known to be quite the jokester and knew no stranger. Above all, Stan was an incredible man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Stan is forever loved by his son, Stan M. Wonch; Grandchildren, Nicole Durham and Alyssa; 6 great grandchildren; Brothers: Doug (Tenia) Wonch, Tony (Kathy) Wonch, Dewey Wonch, and Kevin (Laurie) Wonch; Loving companion and best friend, Karly. Stan was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda; Brother, Chris Wonch; Mother, Nelba. Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
